The prices of gold and silver in the Indian bullion market have experienced some changes in the past week. According to IBJA (Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association) data, the price of

24-carat gold started the business week (from September 18th to September 22nd, 2023) at Rs 59,324 per 10 grams and later decreased to Rs 59,134 per 10 grams by Friday. On the other hand, the price of 999 purity silver saw an increase of Rs 963 per kilogram during the same business week, rising from Rs 72,212 to Rs 73,175 per kilogram.
It’s worth noting that IBJA provides standard rates for different purities of gold. These rates are exclusive of taxes and making charges. The prices provided by IBJA are widely accepted throughout the country, but they do not include GST (Goods and Services Tax).
