Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film “Jawan” has made quite a splash at the box office, even surpassing the record set by his blockbuster “Pathan” released earlier in 2023. Fans were eagerly awaiting this film, which marked the beginning of Shah Rukh Khan’s illustrious career in 2023. Interestingly, “Jawan” has also overtaken the earnings of “Gadar 2,” a film making waves at the Indian box office. “Jawan” is now eyeing a remarkable achievement – crossing the 1,000 crore mark worldwide.

According to box office data, on its 17th day in theaters, “Jawan” collected a staggering 13 crores in India, bringing its total collection to 546.58 crores. The film is inching closer to the 550 crore mark, which it is expected to achieve over the weekend. Globally, “Jawan” has already earned a massive 955 crores, with an Indian gross of 641.25 crores, leaving “Pathan” far behind at 542 crores in Indian collections.

Breaking down the earnings, “Jawan” made an impressive 75 crores on its opening day, followed by 53.23 crores on the second day, 77.83 crores on the third day, and 80.1 crores on the fourth day. Even in the following days, the film continued to rake in substantial earnings. In the first week, it accumulated 389.88 crores. As the second week commenced, “Jawan” collected 136.1 crores, including 7.6 crores in Hindi collections.

It’s clear that “Jawan” has struck a chord with audiences, and with its record-breaking performance, it’s poised to achieve remarkable success both in India and around the world.
