Parineeti Chopra has made her way to Delhi, marking the beginning of her wedding festivities alongside her fiance, Raghav Chadha. The Aam Aadmi Party leader warmly greeted her at the Delhi airport, and the two were even spotted wearing matching blue shirts. Their week-long pre-wedding celebrations leading up to their wedding in Udaipur on September 24 will commence with an ardaas function in Delhi on Sunday.
Earlier on that day, Parineeti was seen at Mumbai airport as she prepared to board her flight to Delhi. She donned a black cap with the letter “R” embroidered on it. A few hours later, photographs captured the couple at Delhi airport as Raghav Chadha joined her.
According to a source shared with Hindustan Times, “The wedding festivities are set to start in Delhi on September 17 with ardaas and shabad kirtan, which will be followed by intimate gatherings for close family members. Following these celebrations, the entire family, along with the bride and groom, will head to Udaipur for the grand wedding.”
Recently, the couple’s wedding card surfaced online, revealing plans for “A Pearl White Indian Wedding” during the day at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on September 24. This will be followed by a reception at The Leela Palace’s Courtyard, themed “A Night of Amore.” A day before the wedding, there will be a welcome lunch and a ’90s Edition’ party at The Leela Palace.
Parineeti and Raghav got engaged a few months ago, and the engagement ceremony saw the presence of several notable figures, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin and a renowned actor, attended the ceremony as an elder sister and is also expected to participate in the wedding celebrations.
