Additionally, gold for delivery on February 5, 2023, started at 57,175 rupees per 10 grams today, down from the opening price of 57,300 rupees on Thursday.
As for silver prices, a decline was observed on Friday as well. The opening price for silver with a delivery date on December 5, 2023, was 66,825 rupees per kilogram on the MCX exchange, which was lower than the opening price from last Thursday, which was 67,450 rupees. Furthermore, the opening price for silver with a delivery date on March 5, 2024, was 68,400 rupees per kilogram today, down from the opening price of 68,450 rupees on Thursday.
In the global market, gold prices saw an increase on Friday. Gold’s global future price on COMEX showed a rise of 0.35% or $6.50 with a trading price of $1,838.30 per ounce. The global spot price for gold also traded at $1,823.83 per ounce.
Regarding global silver prices, COMEX recorded an increase on Friday. The global future price for silver on COMEX, with a delivery date on December 5, 2023, showed a rise of 0.67% or $0.14, trading at $21.16 per ounce. The global spot price for silver also traded at $21.00 per ounce.
