Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot with grand celebrations in Udaipur on September 24th. While the wedding festivities have concluded, they continue to be the talk of the town.
Parineeti Chopra has been sharing glimpses of her pre-wedding activities on her Instagram, and one particular video shows the couple engaging in a cricket match between their families.
In the shared photos and videos, it’s evident that both teams had a fun cricket match, with one side representing the groom’s team and the other the bride’s. In the captions, the actress mentioned how it’s time to introduce their traditional Indian wedding by breaking away from conventional rituals.
The etching read, “To ship off our regular Indian wedding, the current second is the best access to analyze our crucial traditions. Musical chairs, lemon and spoon races, three-legged races, and cricket. It’s not just about winning or losing. It’s about unbelievable moments, excitement, laughter, and, most importantly, building bonds. Our Chadha-Chopra war was an epic battle where both sides emerged victorious, winning hearts.”
This pre-wedding ‘Raghniiti,’ as they fondly call it, was held in Delhi. Before heading to Udaipur for the wedding, both families met in Delhi, where they conducted Ardas (Sikh prayer), Kirtan (devotional singing), and even organized a Sufi night.
The cricket match was a playful yet heartwarming way for the families to come together and celebrate the upcoming union of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha. It symbolized not just competition but also the joy, laughter, and the importance of building strong relationships.
